You sure get to travel a lot. We were in Hawai’i during January 2012. We were on Maui and the Big Island (Kona). I will be in Oregon from July 19-26th, 2012. Not sure where exactly. Starting at Hell’s Canyon and perhaps heading towards the ocean

Last year we rode some of those twisties in the John Day area when coming back from Montana. I like Hwy 395 down to Lakeview and then the Outback Scenic Byway, so I have already done some exploring

I haven’t explored much the John Day area on motorcycle. But I really like that area of the state. And from there south. At some point I want to explore the area of the Owyhee desert, where Idaho, Nevada and Oregon meet. The good thing is that there is plenty of areas to ride around here.That’s what matters. And there are places that I don’t mind going again and again, like the Steens Mountain area. I’m looking forward to your report of the ride in Oregon. Let me know how things progress. I’m working and traveling in the later part of the month.
